Arusha Lodge is a well established guesthouse in the heart of the KwaZulu Natal Battlefields route and is within easy reach of the Talana Museum, Ncome Museum, Blood River, Rorke’s Drift and Isandlwana historic sites.  The services of a variety of experienced tour guides are available in town for comprehensive tours of these locations.  Apart from the historic sites, Dundee also offers various game farm viewing opportunities, as well as a high quality 18 hole golf course and other sporting facilities. 

Dundee is also home to a number of government district offices including the departments of Health, Agriculture, Works, Labour and Water Affairs.  This results in a high number of government officials requiring accommodation, but our clientele also includes corporate clients and tourists. 

Arusha Lodge consists of 17 en-suite rooms of which 15 are currently actively in use.   The infrastructure is  also already in place for an additional 3 rooms.   An indoor Koi pond contributes to the serene ambience of the lodge.   There is also a two-bedroom loft flat on the property that can be used by a manager or rented out for additional income.  All rooms boast air-conditioning (heating & cooling), fridges, personal safes for securing valuables, as well as DSTV (11 channels).  ADSL Internet services are also available to guests.   Arusha Lodge is a secure walled-in property with electric gate, electric fencing, camera surveillance and safe undercover parking. 

Guests can enjoy a drink in a fully licenced pub with a deck.  For guests requiring dinner, a small restaurant with a-la-carte menu is available on the premises.  A public lounge with fireplace is available for the cold winter nights.  For the summer heat we have a sparkling swimming pool with attached Jacuzzi and built-in braai facilities.
